Taking infrared photos using a mobile phone
There are a lot of better articles about taking IR photos than this one!
Here are a selection of websites from my browsing history on the topic. There are more out there.

The important part, for a Samsung owner, is to install the ExpertRAW camera from the Samsung app store. You need the ability to set the ISO, exposure, focus & shutter speed. Importantly, you also need the photo to be saved as a RAW file (with all of the sensor data in it, not just the processed slice that you get from a JPEG). I believe that there are after market cameras that can do this (you could do a web search for reviews or try OpenCamera, which is FOSS).
I'm not going to try to address the phototaking part. Just go for full sunshine, lowest temperature red balance, as low an ISO as you can while keeping the shutter speed acceptably quick & with a bit of experimentation with the focus (manual or automatic) to cope with the difference betwen IR & visible light.
The next section is about the software to process to RAW photo that you have taken
